Winter can be devastating for your lawn or garden, and that’s why it’s so important to make sure that you’re giving your grass and plants a fighting chance. A complete fall clean-up will help guard your property against lawn damage from fallen leaves, mold growth, and ice buildup.
Our expert team handles every aspect of preparing your yard for the winter so that you can check that chore off your list.
Starting in October, our team will visit your property every 1–2 weeks to ensure that it is leaf-free and well-maintained. We’ll also make sure your garden beds are clear, entryways are clean, and bag and remove any debris using our mowers and vacuums. This option is ideal for properties with a lot of trees or large yards.
Our one-time fall clean-up option is great for properties with smaller yards or fewer trees. Our one-time visits are scheduled for later in the year when the cold really sets in. We’ll remove all leaves, cut back plants, and clean up and remove any yard debris.
It is important to note that leaf removal does depend on dry conditions. Wet leaves are difficult to remove efficiently, and when the weather gets too wet, the clean-up may carry over into spring clean-up — but don’t worry — you’ll be the first one on our list when weather conditions improve!
At Summit Scapes, we don’t believe in doing things halfway – that’s why we offer a full range of fall clean-up services that cover everything from leaf removal to shrub trimming.

We’ll remove fallen leaves from your property, including garden beds, lawns, and any hardscape features. Fallen leaves block sunlight and moisture from reaching the grass, which can cause dead, patchy spots. Depending on your preference and your property’s layout, we can either haul leaves away for you or carefully blow them into a designated area (such as the woods right off your property). You’ll choose your preferred option when scheduling your service.

We’ll also clean up other common lawn debris, like branches, sticks, and grass clippings.

Before the first frost sets in, we’ll give your lawn a final mow and fertilize it to help it come back strong in the spring. Aeration is also available as an optional add-on service.

Like a last mow, your bushes and shrubs will need one last trim before the cold weather to make sure their branches are healthy and not carrying any dead weight.
